Corruption is bribery in goverment contracting where officials accept payment of favors to award contracts to specific companies. This leads to wasted public founds.
Corruption is one of the most serious problem in the Philippines. To prevent this we need to strengthen institution and laws. Increase transparency and account ability. Empowering citizens and media. Implementing effective enforcement.
The effects of corruption is serious. Corruption may effect humans and our community so the goverments should enforce laws. First: Ensure accountability, and citizens must demand transparency. Second: Report corruption and give action to solve this problem. Lastly: we should panish the corrupt officals.
